The Wild Unknown – 20012 – http://www.thewildunknown.com/products/tarot-deck

The Devil card is touched by a cracked shell, wishbone, cat’s jaw, and wolf ’s baculum. Aries, when you began your journey, what was something that fueled your fire? When people told you that you couldn’t do it, that it was taboo, that it was wrong, you fought back. However, over the years, some of those beliefs began to seep into your subconscious and you allowed it to shape who you are today. These oracles ask that you reclaim your fire and dig down to your roots. Invoke the spirit of who you used to be – untainted by fears and limitations – and ask, “What parts of myself have I lost?” The buffalo tooth and the coyote’s baculum hang out on the outskirts of this card, trying to get to your insecurities. These are warnings against those who wear masks in your presence or ask that you tame yourself. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes your friends mean well, but they may push their own boundaries onto you. You are a wild spirit and you fearlessly dance with the devil. Burn bright, Aries. You were born to push boundaries. You never needed anyone else’s validations and you definitely never needed permission to be the person that you are. Don’t forget that.

Four of Cups | The Fool

Advice: Base Chakra

Welcome to Spring, Taurus!!  Soooo, how did last month treat you? Were you able to successfully shake off the boredom to acquire your “pie in the sky”?  Well, I have news for you, our WONDERFUL four of Cups is back this month and it’s telling us that we are still digging our heels in somewhere and we have got to let something go, and this time, it’s DEFINITELY emotional.  With the turn of the season, it’s time to allow for renewal.  Let go of whatever emotions you may have been holding on to for whatever reason, and recognize that YOU are in charge of the changes that happen or DO NOT happen in your life.  Allowing complacency and stagnation to overrule your energy and emotional well-being is the quickest way to depression and we SURELY don’t want that!  Sometimes getting comfortable in a certain emotion, whether it be anger, sadness, apathy, or fear can lend to a sense of control as you have a identified a stable foundation from which to operate, but it doesn’t mean that any of that energy will benefit you.  It’s time for something new.

The 4 of Cups paired with the Fool says just that.  It’s time to step outside of your comfort zone and do things you’ve never done to get things you’ve never gotten.  With the Fool being associated with the sign Aquarius, the planet Uranus, and the 11th House of Acquaintances and Social Groups, it’s definitely time to broaden your horizons and set your focus on the road less traveled.  The Fool is the ULTIMATE shake up.  He is spontaneous, rebellious, willing to take risks, and is damn near invincible, inspiring BIG change by branching out into the wide world of “brand new”.  Where are your thoughts leading you?  How can you shake off old boring comforts for a new initiative, across the board, of personal wellness?  It’s time to re-invent yourself and with the dawn of Spring there’s no better time to do it.

Base Chakra is telling you to look at your fears and your need to “hold on”.  There is something that you fear losing that is causing you to latch on and struggle through discomfort.  Change is inevitable, so you can choose to dig your heels in and vice grip that which you are afraid of letting go of, or you can accept and appreciate a different perspective and bypass the pain that comes with inactivity.  It’s your call. Choose wisely…

Aquarian Tarot – Paladini – 1970 – US Games

What dynamic change can Geminis expect to see in life during Aries season and how do the Benevolent Beings of the universe advise Twins to cope with said transformation?

Answer: Four of Pentacles & Six of Rods

Aries season heralds a time when security is solid for Geminis, especially those Twins who have been committed to a disciplined plan of some kind, such as putting away money in a savings account or adhering to a strict fitness and diet routine. Four of Pentacles confirms goals are past the point of being reached; they are now grounded and established, similar to the roots of a 10,000 year old tree, it will take a straight up cataclysmic force of nature greater than any man can conceive and possibly the destruction of Earth itself to remove your base from the depths of terra firma.

Without the presence of a major arcana tarot card in this answer, it’s clear copious work has been performed by Self in the mundane world for a very long time with dedication and unwavering commitment. Congratulations on not giving up, even through rough terrain; it’s party time now.

Six of Rods steps in to answer the second part of the question and this card is all about celebration. Cope with this transformation by relishing in rooted leadership while continuing to advance in even more expansive ways. Sixes are Jupiter in tarot and Six of Rods is associated with Jupiter in Leo and since this planet’s energetic function is to blow up like a balloon, it is advised to keep expanding with confidence knowing the foundation for success is solid as the earth itself.

The pairing of Four of Pentacles with Six of Rods suggests the realization of something sown and sought after since Capricorn season, from December 22, 2015 to January 19, 2016. Jupiter went retrograde on January 7, so in the past few months successful progress may have been more obvious internally. But when Jupiter goes direct on May 9, 2016, it’s on and cracking — triumph will glow as apparent and bright as the Sun at midday.

The New Earth Tarot, co-created by Silver & Delong – http://www.newearthtarot.com

Cancer, this coming time will be an amazing growth period for you. Take some time to reflect on your younger self. Who were you then? Who did you want to be? Who are you now? What is bringing you joy in this time? You are going to have some choices to make as well. This won’t be an even choice, but I urge you to focus on the one that seems less developed. I think you can tackle that with the enthusiasm necessary to bring something major into the light. Cancer, if you do nothing else during the Aries period, please dream. Daytime, nighttime….it doesn’t matter. Let yourself flow through all of the amazing possibilities. See yourself winning that award—getting that nod of recognition. Enthusiasm for life will carry you this month.

There is a sense of adventure on the emotional level from these cards. That Adolescent of Mirrors seems to be primping and prepping for something big. Don’t be surprised when a lover asks you to take things to the next step. Let that be part of your dreaming scenarios as well. This month calls for you to reflect on what you wanted vs what you want now. It’s okay if things have changed. Make this about your own dreams and wants. Make it about you. If fear were something you could take out with the trash, what changes would you make in your life right now? Well? Get started! I took that trash out for you. You’re welcome.

The Wild Unknown – 20012 – http://www.thewildunknown.com/products/tarot-deck

I smiled as I drew this first card for you, a bold, brilliant Ace of Wands. Wham, bam and a brand new project, springing into action. As spring gets a good hold of 2016 and life bursts forth from every corner, you, too, are in the zone of creativity and inspiration. If you’ve been sitting on an exciting new idea, be assured, now is the time to begin.

I shuffled and drew a second card. More fire, but here it’s in the form of a lightening bolt, blowing the top off a tall, old tree. Yes, fire is creativity, but it is also destruction. How can the two co-exist?

The Tower’s image of an ancient structure being blown apart is at the same time terrifying and liberating. Here, paired with the Ace of Wands, it’s all about liberation. This month, you are a person of extremes. You’re ready to begin, to create, to set forth boldly, burning with your usual passion and enthusiasm for life. But before you launch anything, you must destroy what was there before so as to make way for what you are planning to create.

It’s easy to be focused always on the new, rather than on the lose ends that must be tied up or the processes of wrapping up or letting go that are also an essential part of moving forwards with energy and creativity. But how much nicer it is to create in a clear workspace, how much easier it is to plan and act when you’re not surrounded by the clutter and debris of old projects and previous cycles.

It’s time for a bonfire, Leo. Out with the old, in with the new, is the motto for this month. Your new ideas are fabulous and will carry you far, but before you launch into anything new, take the time to clear your space. With the same dynamic boldness you apply to beginning new projects, close down the old. Leave no trace of what is no longer needed. Burn to the ground unwanted habits, lingering guilt and the debris of things you lost interest in long ago, leaving nothing but dusty, smoking space. And when the dust settles, you’ll truly be ready to grab that wands and begin the next phase of your life

VIRGO
AUGUST 22 – SEPTEMBER 23
– Vix –

virgovix316tiny

Hey there Virgos!

You’ve achieved a lot lately. OK, maybe it doesn’t feel like it sometimes, but if you really take a look back at the last few months, or even years, you have a heck of a lot to celebrate, to be grateful for and you absolutely deserve to pat yourself on the back for all of it.

The Ten of Cups often comes up to let people know everything is going to be OK, your dreams are going to come true, but for you guys, it’s more about noticing that your dreams already have come true. Maybe you just haven’t really noticed because you’ve been so busy working on manifesting and creating the next thing.

Take a second to think about where you were a few years ago. What did you want? Where did you want to be? We have to stop chasing our dreams all the time and actually celebrate ourselves once in a while. The Four of Wands coming up reversed here is like hey, guys! There’s gotta be a party!

You seriously have to mark this time in your life. This month throw a party, journal, write a list of all of your dreams that have come true, create a weird woo woo ritual, heck, even just celebrate yourself by taking a day off and catching up on a bit of Netflix and chill.

Mexican Marigold was used in Ancient Aztec ceremonies, if you can get some you totally should and make a flower crown out of it. The energy of this flower is urging you to stop what you’re doing and create ceremony for all you’ve achieved and everything you are.

We spend our whole lives chasing our dreams. We work so hard to get where we want to be, but when we get there we’re so busy focusing on what we want next we don’t stop to check in with our twelve year old, or twenty year old selves and say – hey, your dreams are gonna come true kid!

With love, light and dreams come true,

How is The Wheel turning for you dear Libra as we move from watery depths of Aquarius and Pisces into the fire of Aries? Aries season calls you to break the surface of the water, get some sun, and get going already on those plans you’ve been brewing over.

The cards are not being circumspect about it either.

The Wooden Tarot – 2012, The Earthbound Oracle – 2014 – Swartz, http://www.skullgarden.net/art/

Temperance asks you to pay attention to any imbalances you may be experiencing right now. Are you as resource-full as you are resourceful? Vice versa, are you as resourceful as you are resource-full? Make plans to say yes to both those questions.

God of Bones and King of Bones call us to the practical and give much needed reality checks. Where are you overextended? It’s time to be blunt with yourself (and others) about what you can and cannot do right now. It may mean some difficult conversations with folks whose energy drain you cannot handle right now or your budget needs to get tighter- or may need to get created in the first place!

Whatever it is, get real and work on follow through. Put in the kind of Eight of Stones work- declarative, decisive, and forthright- that births the contentment that Ten of Bones promises. Take comfort in Sol as you put in this work. A reminder that every day is an opportunity, and the sun refreshes as it warms. She guides our endeavors bringing confidence and renewal as we tackle the work we are called to do.

Thoth Tarot Crowley & Harris – US Games 1978

When we allow ourselves to go inward, we shine a spotlight on our innermost thoughts and feelings, including the desires and fears that we keep hidden from the world. As you sink deeper into this space, you are likely to see aspects of yourself that are at once both unique and universal. These are elements of your singular Self; as you uncover the light of your soul, the totality of who you are comes into plain view. Indeed, if the Moon Card shows you being lulled into this deep introspection, the Ace of Cups is this pure love that awaits you in the darkness.

The personal discoveries you make this month, dear Sag, will come from your emotional space. Like an especially vivid dream, this experience may be uncomfortable, but it can also be magical, particularly since the Ace of Cups shows a spring of love bursting forth, filling our heart spaces like a flood. The trick is to find the thing that has you “plugged up.” What are you keeping inside? What truth are you avoiding? What is the source of your pain?

The presence of these two cards together suggests that if you can answer these questions honestly, you will find a treasure inside of yourself, one that is wrapped in love. It may be a new talent or relationship or a powerful insight into your life that you discover, but whatever you find, you will know you have found your treasure, because you will feel love — love for yourself, love for others, and love for the world. So, don’t be afraid! Dive in!

Japaridze Tarot – Japaridze – US Games 2014

Astro Outlook : Mars goes retrograde 17 April (through 29 June)
The latter part of Aries sees Mars going retrograde (joining Jupiter in retrograde). Prepare for a couple of months of shifting from Warrior to Guardian energy, letting things coast along at their own momentum rather than trying to initiate, push, force … which is likely to blowup in our face, breakdown from overheating, or create unnecessary resistance and challenge. Let’s retreat and only take action when called upon rather than being the driving force.
Card for Capricorn : Knight of Swords
Ponder this …
• What am I fighting for ?
• Do I want to be heard but am not willing to listen ?
• Have I thought this through before speaking or acting ?

« Quick words did not always mean a quick mind. »
Jeff Shaara, A Blaze of Glory
On the one hand, this is a time for identifying what we believe in and be willing to stand up for it, fight for it, not to back down from the challenges faced by fighting for Truth and Justice.
On the other hand, this can be a time when we may rush in to things without thinking, saying or doing things that stimulate or exacerbate conflict because we’ve spoken too soon, acted to quickly or too rashly.
People may be on the defensive, ready if not looking for a reason to fight. Let’s pay attention when we might be coming in already on the defensive, already made up our mind, rather than willing to listen with an open mind and an open heart.

The Chariot | Ace Of Cups

“And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course. Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself.” -Kahlil Gibran

This equinox season, as the wheel of the year turns to welcome spring, you are feeling the pull dear Aquarius. The tug forward, the call in the night, the rise of momentum. The movement of your chariot. Perhaps you wonder how to nurture a collective that matters to you or cultivate the nest that warms your spirit and/or that of your loved ones.

This month you are in the mood to map new territory and then promptly explore. So urgent is the call to move somewhere, anywhere, that you might not spend the time to tend to the “where-s” and “why-s” of your journey. And as Aquarius loves to lead the most relevant and innovative initiatives, this sign simply won’t stand for charting a course that doesn’t matter.

The Ace of Cups shines light into your depths. It invites excavation of the sacred. It invites blossoming from beneath. It takes the wonder right out of the question “where do I go from here?” The Ace’s sun rays shine directly adjacent to the Chariot’s crown, leading you straight to your inner eye, the eye your heart uses to vision the future; to your crown – the seat of your intellect and intuition. The two ways that you “know”.

This month you find yourself dead center of a war of “knowing”. You know that it’s time to move. You may not know where to go or how. These cards ask, How do you respond to being led by the unknown? Trust and Follow. Tend the muddy blossoms of your heart’s desires so that they may bloom. Go beneath the surface and away from other people’s shoulds. Dare to desire. Let it be the spark that drives your motion and centers you. Align with love and let it lead you.

Tarot de Marseille restauré – Hadar – 1995 – Éditions de Mortagne, Archetype Cards – Myss – 2003 – Hay House

As a child, I was good at Math – not stellar, but good enough to coast along with minimal effort while maintaining a high average. This continued until the last two years of high school when suddenly, I became incapable of doing Math, and by that I mean, my grades suddenly plummeted from A to F. I’m sharing this with you, Pisces, because the two court cards I’ve drawn for you this month represent a classic Piscean situation: the Page of Cups and the Knight of Coins, both headstrong young men, propelled in opposite directions while their teacher splits herself in two trying to keep her wayward students engaged.

One of Pisces’s favourite coping mechanisms for getting through the stuff we dislike is to check out of reality when it suits us. It’s not that we can’t cope, we’re just easily distracted. The problem is, when we disconnect with Presence, heart and mind are flung off track and chaos ensues. Result: communication breakdowns, identity crises, abortive missions. In my case, I very nearly didn’t get into university. So how do we manage this tendency to avoid structure and resist following orders?

Let’s return to that archetype of the teacher – our inner guide. Look closely and it seems she’s not all about Math, after all. She could just as well be teaching geography, juggling, or scrapbooking. She’s the mastermind, the one who keeps it all together. Ironically, Pisces has a tendency to seek spiritual guidance from external sources, always looking for the next guru to put on a pedestal. The upside is that once we recognize that everything we seek is within, we’re capable of following our heart with fundamentalist zeal.

The gentle Page of Cups is impressionable and led by emotion, but his big brother the Knight of Coins has started to realize that attaching dreams to tangible goals is the way forward. United as one, they make the perfect student, focused yet enterprising, comfortably inhabiting that fluid boundary between student and mentor: a practical dreamer.
