Happy Birthday, Pisces! You love a cake, party and gifts as much as the next zodiac sign, but you also like to know you’ve earned it. Here’s a handy questionnaire to help you assess just how far you’ve come in the last twelve months:

Question: What are you ready to leave behind?

Answer: The World

You may feel content with life as it is, but deep down you know you’re ready to move on – and anyway, it isn’t like you to bask. This could mean graduating from school, getting a raise, finding closure on a old relationship, or finishing that book you’ve been reading/writing for the last decade. Just do it already and then let go, because this window of time won’t last. You are so ready for change!

Question: What’s the significance of this milestone birthday?

Answer: The Chariot

Let’s face it: all birthdays are milestones. Another year, another step closer to enlightenment. The Chariot comes up often for you and it’s no surprise, with those two horses joined at the hip. Are you coming or going? Do you mean what you say, or say what you feel? Are you ready to leave conflict behind and ride into the sunset? You’ve got what it takes – it’s just a matter of how badly you want it …

Question: What might you treasure and take with you?

Answer: Two of Cups

Moodiness is not the same as fickleness, and Pisces makes a loyal partner. It’s hard work swimming against the currents, and at times you may be tempted to throw the baby out with the bathwater, but remember that this chariot was made for two.

And now for your birthday gifts:

1.) Amazonite. Your talisman of the month is this easy-to-find, blue, green and white crystal. A triple-threat stone of transformation, it’s got your heart, throat and crown chakras covered.

2.) Your very own Inner Saboteur. The genie in the lamp, the gift that keeps giving. Befriend your shadow and it’ll reveal secret ways you may be undermining your own success. Channel that Piscean gift for escapism into something wildly visionary.

The Psychic Tarot – Holland – Hay House – 2010

Aries, this month is all about creating harmony! Whilst you’re ready to zoom off into your next big adventure, the time isn’t quite right yet. Don’t worry, it’s all coming together but right now is all about getting yourself in alignment. You’ve changed so much along this rollercoaster ride of a journey, which means you are seeing things differently. What you want for yourself and from your life has changed in reflection of this. If you’ve been feeling uncertain which direction you should be moving in, it might be because you’re still trying to view the bigger picture through January’s lenses! Everything is different now remember? It’s time to re-tune your focus.

This month will be pushing you to find a delightful equilibrium within yourself. You’ll be guided in creating a renewed order out of any inner chaos so that you may have the best foundation possible for this next exciting phase of your journey. Establishing inner harmony might seem boring when you want to be soaring towards the sun but it’s necessary to take some time and space so that you can realise all the wonderful knowledge you’ve gained over the last few months and get ready to put it into action. As within, so without. If your head is a mess and you’re not listening to your heart, you’ll only be forcing yourself down a path that’s full of unnecessary catalysts and repetitive life lessons! See this time as precious preparation. It will give you everything you need to create the life you want to experience and you’ll also be building up a reserve of beautiful energy, so that when the time is right – whoooosh! Off you go!

Try to see it a bit like a bow being gently and tightly pulled back, getting ready to launch the arrow. When released at the perfect timing, it will inevitably hit its mark.

If you value this time, you’ll be gaining some super energy forces and some kick-ass information which will catapult you into the direction you want to be going – and it will be everything you want and more!

Ace of Pentacles | Four Cups

Advice: Receiving Frequency

Ok Taurus, so you know how we LURVE stability, right? This month we are going to be given a new nugget of grounding in the form of health, wealth, and/or material abundance.  Yaaaaaaaaay!!!  Could we BE more excited?  Something new to hold and have as we are the sign that goes ga-ga for anything we can covet.  A new beginning is on the horizon for us. It will allow us to feel the earth solidly under our feet and give us the staying power to move in the direction of building our empire.  This Ace could be a new job, a new business, a new workout plan, or being gifted a much needed sum of money.

The four of Cups shows that the sparkle will wear off your new pretty very quickly. Feelings of boredom and stagnation will quickly replace feelings of exuberance.  Fours are all about stability, yes, but with this particular card, it feels as if there is no emotional energy to stay excited about what has been brought into your life.  The charge for Taurus is to not let that happen.  Yes, there may be lulls. We may feel as though we want to throw in the towel because everyone around us is moving and shaking, making stacks of cash, and having a great time. But we can have all of that just the same.  All that’s needed is ACTION.  We get so comfortable with routine that we bore the HELL out of great things! The Receiving Frequency card is telling us to tap into our Higher Self and ask how we can shake up the energy to really put some longevity into our plan to see the success we want.  Sometimes we have to get out of our own way in order to see the finish line.

This month, Taurus, I implore you to shake up your routine and find new ways to “Whip and Nae Nae” toward your goals. It may seem silly and frivolous at first, but after all the laughing and high powered energy, you will be amazed at all you have accomplished.

Hey fellow Gems!

I am loving the cards we have for this month – the Friendship card + Four of Swords + Seven of Coins.

We’ve been focused on this work/life balance stuff for a while now – we still don’t have it totally sorted. That’s cool, because it’s a journey right? But it looks like we’re getting a heck of a lot better at it, so yay us!

We’re starting to realise that chilling out and taking time off is actually essential to being able to hear the voice of our intuition, be even more creative than we already are and be more “on”!

It’s super hard to just chill when you have a crazy active mind, but us Gems just have to work a little harder to quiet that monkey mind through things like meditation, crafts, cat videos or Netflix.

Whenever you start getting into guilt about taking time out, feeling burned out or bummed out call on your Gemini powers of being really good at talking to yourself. Talk to yourself like you are your best friend. Encourage yourself to work hard and get things done, but also remind yourself it’s equally important to have an after work drink (or two, OK, maybe three) and sleep in Sundays.

There’s some great energy around right now for us to finally start to slip into that flow of balancing out our doing and being energy. So let’s embrace it!

Once we get into the zone of working hard and resting well we’ll be more productive, intuitive and most of all, happier.

With love, light and beautiful balancing flows!

What do the Benevolent Beings of the universe want Cancers to focus on during Pisces season?

Four of Swords Rx | Page of Cups Rx

Cancers are at a critical juncture, where routine ways of living face rapid extinction. Several discussions are happening, with the internal Self and also with loved ones. The inner child, represented by Page of Cups Rx, is wailing and laughing simultaneously. There are so many things to consider and ruminating over a plethora of opinions makes options for progression confounding.

Four of Swords Rx and Page of Cups Rx is an eye on the prize answer and it is also portentous. These cards recognize the veracity of a deep inner knowing possessed by Self. Four of Swords Rx and Page of Cups Rx invite Cancer to find direction by experiencing uncomfortable verisimilitudes and listening, truly listening, to whatever comes up. Other people’s perspectives are not so important right now. Although some may be attempting to help, it’s as if every time they open their mouth a smog effluvium bounces off their tongue, beclouding the situation even further. Don’t add murk to an already muddy circumstance; go inside to find answers. Meditation helps.

The predictive aspect of Four of Swords Rx and Page of Cups Rx speaks to a forthcoming astrological transit. Four of Swords is Jupiter in Libra and although this planet is currently transiting tropical zodiac sign Virgo, the celestial body will be moving into Libra on September 9, 2016. In popular modern Western astrology, the Jupiter in Libra transit sails through Cancer’s fourth house, promising great boons in the realms of family and home. In Vibrational Astrology, Jupiter in Libra translates energetically to Expanded Relations; the fourth house promises the individual will act on an inner consciousness that does not require validation; performing without thinking, comfort in authentic knowing.

Cancers are advised to discover during Pisces season whatever emotions or thought patterns need to be laid to rest so the Crab will feel at home with the imminent creative expansion occurring when Jupiter moves into Libra in September. Do what you feel!

The Tower Rx | Knight Cups RX

“Every morning I jump out of bed and step on a landmine. The landmine is me. After the explosion, I spend the rest of the day putting the pieces together.”

― Ray Bradbury

Leo, this month’s message wafts up from a murky emotional-scape. It rises, a metaphorical tribute to cylindrical structures – a spiral staircase, the barrel of a gun, chakras, vertebrae, a candle. Bit by bit these objects and spaces are traversed, back and forth, up and down, blasted through, melted. Who wants to be exploded ever? We would rather feel contained, whole, safe. But sometimes we must come apart. Destruction of the macro means the loss of tangibles: home, financial security, towers we build in the real world. Physical towers are not the theme right now. This month concerns the micro, the towers within. The Tower asks:

Where do you find safety?

Sometimes we believe people keep us safe, sometimes status, our identities, or appearances. “If I’m this kind of careful/guarded/perfect I will feel safe.” Our individual concepts will be as varied as snowflakes, as personal as thumbprints, and as solid as diamond molecules. These concepts form early in life and are hardened by circumstance and expectation. And when these concepts are challenged we feel shaken to the bone, out of control, vulnerable. The task of picking up all the bricks seems as daunting as it does necessary.

This reversed knight of cups might want to forget all of this and find comfort in an even older tower. Have compassion for the part of yourself that seeks shelter when under a great deal of emotional stress. We meet a very deep need to feel safe with our actions at these times, however destructive, raw, or unhelpful those actions may seem.

How can this knight take shelter this month?

A reassurance, a movement, or song? Remember that safety has everything to do with your state of mind. Look to the image of the reversed Tower, with it’s flames at the bottom, it’s gray smoke in the middle giving way to the clearest blue, like energy rising up from the security center, the root chakra up through the cleansing blue center of the throat. The wreckage will fade. Now that you have a choice of what to build, be sure of each brick that you use moving forward.

The Collective Tarot – 2008

Communication is your theme this month. This is all about your message to the world. What do you need to let people know? What are you learning right now that must be shared, taught, preached?

You’re walking the line between teacher and student; at the same time as feeling a powerful urge to SAY SOMETHING to the world, you’re also gradually undergoing your own process of taking in and processing information. You’re coming to understand something deep and real, universal truths, something about how the world works, has always worked, and how society can function within this context. It’s a topic you’re passionate and excited about, and it’s time to bring it to the fore.

This month as the moon moves through your sign, Virgo, be prepared for revelations, and a feeling of information slotting into place, forming a coherent whole. it’s as if you understand something that goes back through generations…yet which most of us are unaware of much of the time.

Find ways to pass on your knowledge, clearly, with passion and precision. Take an unexpected opportunity to speak, write something and put it out there. Imagine that you have a duty to teach right now – that the world needs to hear your message – and figure out the best way to do so. At the same time, don’t neglect your learning. Be studious this month. Apply yourself to becoming the expert in your topic – remember that a good teacher never stops learning.

Tarot of Trees by Dana Driscoll - 2008

Tarot of Trees by Dana Driscoll – 2008 – http://www.tarotoftrees.com/

This is for you, dear Libra, as The Wheel continues to turn, wasn’t it just a short time ago we were seeking our shadow in winter? As the year progresses, and that new year smell fades away, how do you swim differently when the tide changes?

Pisces season is upon us and with it a deep diving expedition of our treasured and sometimes forgotten selves is called for.

So I ask: When your Wheel turns, and The Emperor’s control and stability is overturned, how do you move?

Notice that this Emperor Tree is overturned but it’s roots are such that it will hold strong, and its branches such that they shift into roots as necessary. This requires some fore-planning and much in the way of adaptability and creativity. Thankfully, if there ever was a time for it, Pisces grants you a full boost of those energies. This Emperor Tree also has connection, protection, and watchful mountain guardians. Who are these energies in your life? Seek them out.

As Seven of Swords comes to challenge you, remember your deeply dug and planted self. Focus on that inner truth that is unshakeable and reach out in victory. It may not be pretty, but there is a promise in the end.

Out of whatever the trials bring, a less-burdened sapling tree emerges, strong enough to hold itself up, some of its leaves still in place, shedding all that served it no longer. Page of Swords assures us that if the groundwork- and I do mean ground work– is done, then you will get through whatever trials find you in this season, with invaluable knowledge for the next turn of the wheel.

We have this, Libra.

Here we are Scorpio, at the end of February! And isn’t this the coldest time of year – hearts are broken, we’re lonely, and it’s fahhh-reezing outside. But you know, in spite of it all, we’re warmer when we’re together, and nothing is more inspiring than cuddling up with the people who speak your language. Turn away from feelings of devastation and poverty, and realize what you have right in front of you: a full band, and everyone’s playing the same song as you in some way or another! Instead of commiserating, put aside your differences and just hang out: even if there’s just a little bit of warmth to be had, there’s enough to go around!

This month, Scorpio, even when you’re tempted to fall on your knees in despair, to burrow your head under the covers to hide from all the stupid pain that’s everywhere in the world, just don’t. Don’t!! Leave the house and seek the people who make you feel warm inside, and cuddle the hell out of them! Now more than ever, we all need to flock together.

Dear Sagittarians,

I was drawn to use two decks for your reading this month: Jessica DeFelice’s The David Bowie Tarot Deck and the Sara M. Pellerin’s Fractal Tarot. They share a spacey vibe and an expansiveness to help you navigate the curiosities of the Piscean month ahead.

First up we have the Page of Stars (Pentacles):

Pump it up babies and gaze forward with new eyes. What you see ahead may look like a lot of work, but believe me when I say it will be beneficial. To make an impact you’ve got to show up, and now is the time to show up!

Next up is…yes! Page of Pentacles again! Using more than one deck can emphasize the vital cards and central message. Let’s see what the Fractal Tarot’s Page of Pentacles has to say:

Let’s create some space: see what it looks like to spread your wings. Let’s make sure you don’t hold yourself back, and that you’re ready for the flow that makes people turn around and watch you attentively. People can find you now. Take advantage of this.

We now find ourselves gazing upon David Bowie in drag as The High Priestess

My sweet Sagittarians, be the person you would lovingly gaze upon, the one whose feet you would fall at! If unsure how to how to reverently self-love yourself into positive action, gravitate towards people who see and openly acknowledge your spark. Invite only those ones in. To best utilize your visibility this month, you need all the soulful support you can get.

The Ace of Cups has the last word:

Hold love as if it’s the key to the mysteries of life. Cool your fire just enough to let love flow openly. Change may come this month, but with it relief and plenty of excitement for the year ahead. Flow well, dear Sagis.

The Original Rider Waite Tarot – 2012 – US Games, Book of Runes Set – Blum – 1996 – US Games

Dear Capricorn, your task is to steal fire.

You know how to be diligent. You know how to be persistent. You know how to build and how to stay on track. Those gifts have served you, and I sincerely applaud you for how far you’ve come. Yet there’s a new story for you, one that’s been hiding in the snow, hiding in the frozen earth. It’s a story about Prometheus. It’s a story about disobedience. It’s a story about sovereignty.

You’re not going to get there by appealing to your bosses, lovers, or friends. You’re not going to get it from your job, your relationship, or your routine. It’s not going to come in an ordered, structured way. It’s going to feel dangerous. It’s going to feel liberating. It’s going to feel naughty and magical and wild. You’re going to have to adventure to an unknown place to steal this fire and you’re not going to be able to bring anything with you. You’re not going to be protected. It’s just going to be you and the Gods. And when you get to their campsite – map-less and hungry and tired — they will say: “We’ve been waiting for you.”

This astrological month, your ritual task is to steal fire. Go to the outer reaches of yourself, a place beyond your perceived limits. Take your fire in a way Saturn wouldn’t approve of. Bring a candle into a church and capture a flame, put it on an altar dedicated to your unfurling. Sleep on a pile of stolen matchbooks. Take your spark from the cigarette of a CEO and run away laughing. Because that’s the point – you need this wild medicine. And the medicine needs you.

At the end of the month, ask yourself what ways you stretched yourself. What rebellion you ignited, what restriction you cast off.  Name what now burns brightly inside of you. Call out what remedy you conjured from the outer limits and how you can bring it back to the tribe.

The Alice Tarot – Magic Realist Press – 2014 – http://magic-realist.com/the-alice-tarot/

Hey there Aquarius. Your main energy is the Wheel of Fortune. Expect the unexpected. This is a time for you to move out of your comfort zone if you want to get the big things. There’s a brass ring for you, but you do have to lean out significantly. Not a great month for kicking back if you want to seize those opportunities. And the helping energy is the Tower so you know it’s going to be a rambunctious month. Things will get upended. People you thought you could trust may not hold up as well as you thought. Somewhere, a Tower coming down will benefit you in the long run. Towers coming down are inevitably messy so just remember that the end results will be worth it. The Ten of Coins is what holds you back this month. That’s money and business and jobs. So you are either going to be freed unexpectedly from a job that isn’t serving you OR your work environment is going to undergo a pretty big upheaval. You need to be ready to step into the gaps to hold things together. That may be where your own Tower shows up. You may be lying to yourself about what you are and are NOT capable of. I think you will find deep reserves of “capable” that you can tap into. Hang on to your hats, darlings. I think this will be a bumpy time for you but you will come out on top. Just remember to lean out of your comforter zone to get the most bang for your buck.
